BEFORE AND AFTER-SCHOOL STAFF AND TUTORS NEEDED FOR SCHOOL'S OUT PROGRAM!
The MetroWest YMCA is seeking responsible, yet fun individuals to join the School's Out team! Before and After School Staff are part time teachers that supervise children in our before and after school care sites which is held at a variety of elementary schools within the Framingham Public School system as well as at our Family Outdoor Center in Hopkinton.
Before and After School staff are responsible for leading or assisting with a wide variety of group activities, engaging with the children, homework support and the overall care and supervision of children.
Tutors are needed in the afternoon hours from 3:00-5:00pm to provide additional homework support at McCarthy Elementary School.
We offer flexible part time schedules of 4-25 hours per week Monday through Friday from 7:00-9:00am and 2:30-6:00pm from late August to June. Ability to work early on Thursdays is a plus. Training will be provided to all employees, Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Before and After School staff must possess effective leadership and group management skills and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Staff must possess First Aid and CPR certifications within six months of date of hire, classes available at the Y. Must be committed to the mission and goals of the YMCA.

ASSISTANT SITE DIRECTORS
Assistant Site Directors must be 20 years of age and have at least one year of experience with elementary school age children in an afterschool program. The applicants must meet EEC certification requirements, and a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is strongly preferred. Applicants should be energetic, creative, flexible, levelheaded; able to promote teamwork; be dedicated to excellence in out-of-school time education; and possess strong communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities include assisting the Site Director in developing, implementing, and evaluating a developmentally appropriate curriculum, communicating with and building relationships with school personnel and families, and providing support to staff. Schedule includes working at the site from 1:30/2:30-6:00 PM on school days and some administrative hours. GYMNASTICS HEAD COACH
The MetroWest YMCA seeks friendly, energetic gymnastics enthusiasts to coach gymnastics from beginner through competitive levels. Responsibilities including providing direction for the operation of the Gymnastics Program within the jurisdiction of the governing body -- USA Gymnastics by coordinating and instructing preschool and progressive gymnastics classes and the gymnastics team. Experience coaching boys gymnastics a plus. Applicant must be available to coach on weekends and nights. Some travel is required.
- Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University preferred; physical education/sports & leisure/recreation management.
- 1-2 years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience specifically with competitive coaching and gymnastic instruction
- The ability to develop positive, effective working relationships with staff, volunteers and members.
- Effective coaching/teaching skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for responsible, reliable, dependable and outgoing aquatic professionals to join the MetroWest YMCA aquatics team. Swim instructors must be WSI certified or possess an equal level of experience. Lifeguards must have current certifications and be 16 years of age. Sports Instructors are need to teach a variety of classes including but not limited to soccer, basketball, t-ball, and volleyball to children 3-12 years old.
