Healthy Living: Improving the nation’s health and well-being
In communities across the nation, the Y is a leading voice on health and well-being. With a mission centered on balance, the Y brings families closer together, encourages good health and fosters connections through fitness, sports, fun and shared interests. As a result, millions of youth, adults and families are receiving the support, guidance and resources needed to achieve greater health and well-being for their spirit, mind and body.
Being healthy means more than simply being physically active. It’s about maintaining a balanced spirit, mind and body.
Our Wellness Center offers a wide variety of state-of-the-art cardio equipment, including treadmills, AMT’s, ellipticals, bikes, rowers, and ARC Trainers. Our strength training equipment includes Cybex, Nautilus, Precor strength equipment and free weights.
In our Youth and Family Interactive Gym, families with children ages 9 and older can work out together with their parents. Families have access to Dance Dance Revolution, Trazer, Expresso bikes, Cybex, Wii, Rope Viper and more.
At the MetroWest YMCA we can help get you started and help keep you on track. Wellness consultations and equipment orientations are included with your membership and encouraged for all, especially if you are just beginning or have had difficulty achieving your goals. Additional one-to-one coaching is available for continued support.
