The MetroWest YMCA continues to monitor COVID-19 trends and local  and state guidance. In following the status of COVID-19, including the recent spread of the Delta variant, and considering all CDC and Massachusetts Department of Public Health guidance, we have updated our mask recommendations to align with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts mask advisory effective July 30.


Fully Vaccinated individuals are strongly advised to wear a mask or face covering when indoors, outside of your home, especially if you have a weakened immune system, are at increased risk for COVID-19, or if someone in your household is at increased risk or unvaccinated. Masks should be worn appropriately covering the mouth and nose.


Masks are required for all individuals who are unvaccinated, including children.


Y staff are required to wear masks or face coverings indoors, except when they are instructing adult group exercise class or working in a space where there is proper social distancing.

Reservations are required for some of our programs.

Reservations are required for lap swimming, family swim, and group exercise classes.

No reservation is required for the Wellness Center for cardio or strength training.

Reservation How To:


  1. Use a desktop for ease of access. If you are using a phone, hold it landscape to view the whole website (holding it portrait style will cut off sections of the website)
  2. Login or create an account with this link
  3. Click “Club Activity”
    • Here you can see all of our time slots each day for all departments
    • You can reserve a time slot up to 48 hours in advance
  4. Click the GREEN “Reserve” button next to your desired reservation. A “timeline update” will popup confirming your reservation.
    • You will know if you are reserved for a time slot when you receive the above message, and the GREEN “Reserve” button turns ORANGE and says “Unregister” (if you ever decide to unregister)
    • You will NOT receive an email confirmation of your reservation
  5. To see all of your reservations, stay in the tab you are in (Club Activity). By scrolling down through all of the reservations, you can find yours if you see any reserve buttons that are ORANGE- meaning you are REGISTERED for that time-slot
  6. No need to arrive early. If you arrive early, you will be asked to wait outside until the start of your reservation time.
