#GivingTuesday and Anti-Hunger Work at the MetroWest YMCA

Did YOU KNOW?

Everyday our YMCA feeds about 450 children ages 2-13.

At the Y we are committed to leading our community in healthy eating and promoting food access to teens, a population that is currently underserved. This year we are expanding our services to provide dinner to teens on Saturdays and we hope to expand to the summer when food is less accessible to children and teens. Thanks to generous volunteers, donors like you, and grants, this year the Y built a learning garden where children can grow, harvest, and cook with fresh produce! And thanks to TJMaxx Companies, Inc. we were also able to build a Teaching Kitchen.

Your donation allows us to continue feeding our children healthy meals and snacks and create healthy relationships with food at a young age.

Join the MetroWest YMCA in our #GivingTuesday Campaign, and make a donation on November 27 to help feed youth in your community.

  • $25 will sponsor a teen's evening at Y Teen Night and meal
  • $50 will help us grow fresh fruits and veggies in our Learning Garden
  • $300 will sponsor a healthy cooking class taught in our own Teaching Kitchen
