APRIL VACATION Kids in the Kitchen at the Outdoor Center
Looking for a hands-on program for your child to engage in while school is out? Kids in the kitchen will teach children basic cooking skills while also learning how to cook healthy, delicious recipes! Kids make their own lunch. Program runs daily Tuesday, April 18 - Friday, April 21, from 9:00am - 1:00pm. Ages 5-12.
Members: $50 | Youth/Teen Members: $75 | Non-Members: $100 (Price per day)
Tuesday, April 18: Spanish Tapas! Explore the Spanish culture through mini shared plates of patatas bravas, homemade bread with various dipping sauces, burssels sprouts with bacon jam, and Spanish tortilla.
Wednesday, April 19: Garden Favorites. Plant seeds, explore the gardens and cook recipes with a Spring harvest in mind!
Thursday, April 20: Scratch Italian Cooking. Linguine and raviolis, homemade meatballs & sauce with a vegetable masterpiece!
Friday, April 21: Chinese Cuisine. General Tso's chicken, veggie fried rice, fortune cookies, and a traditional dessert.
