High Flight Program Coordinator

Jack grew up exploring any and all outdoor areas near his home in Ohio with his family and friends. His life goal is to offer similar opportunities to as many people as possible. His bachelor’s degree is in Studio Art from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and his outdoor leadership life began as a counselor at a camp in Pennsylvania’s Laurel Highlands. After college, Jack spent 5 years as assistant director for an outdoor program in Romania’s Carpathian Alps leading hikes and backpacking trips, facilitating ropes course events, overseeing program staff, and, as always, exploring and delighting in the natural world. He is excited to continue his outdoor career at the YMCA by co-leading the High Flight program and leading other outdoor and adventure events.
