FIGHTING FOOD INSECURITY

The MetroWest YMCA believes that fighting food insecurity makes our community stronger. As part of our commitment to healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility, we provide year-round grocery distribution at the Framingham Branch and meal distribution at various community sites throughout the summer.

Our Summer Eats Program is kicking off on Friday. June 24 at Arlington Street Park located at the corners of Arlington and Gordon Streets in Framingham.  The Summer Eats Program, offered in collaboration with Project Bread and the Massachusettes Department of Early and Secondary Education, provides coomplimentary meals to youth ages 18 and under throughout the summer. Meals are distributed Monday through Friday from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm.
