What is Grab 'N Go?

  • The MetroWest YMCA is partnering with the Christa McAuliffe Charter School to provide food for families in need. Together we will be bagging meals with combined supplies from the Y and from McAuliffe.

When can I pick up meals?

  • Food will be available for pickup Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:30-3:30pm.

Where do I pick up meals?

  • At the side entrance/pool side of the MetroWest YMCA. Look for a blue tent.

Who has access to Grab 'N Go? 

  • Anyone 18 and younger can access our food. Parents can pick up for kids and don't have to have children present in order to receive meals. If you're a parent, simply tell us how many kids you need food for, and we will put it in your car.

How long will the meals last?

  • For pickups on Monday or Wednesday, the groceries placed in your car will provide a supper for the night as well as a breakfast for the following morning. The supply will be enough for 2 days.

  • For pickups on Friday's, there will be 3 days' worth of meals (for Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

Do I have to be a YMCA member or show ID?

  • No, anyone who needs the service is welcome!
