Hopkinton Based Camps

The MetroWest YMCA Summer Day Camp is located at 45 East Street, Hopkinton MA 01748. The Camp is 122 acres and abuts Ashland State Park. Two Swimming Pools, Fields, Rainy Day Space Recreation Lodge, Nurses Station, Climbing Walls, Zip Lines, and trails that lead to a gorgeous Waterfront…it’s everything your child will need for an awesome day at camp!

Summer camp is the perfect place to explore the great outdoors, learn new skills, foster independence and meet new friends. Whether this is your first summer or your seventh, each summer guarantees you fun, laughter and new adventures.

We’ve got a new Camp Director this summer! Cody Ross has been with the Metrowest YMCA for just over a year and brings over 5 years of overnight and day camp experience. Cody has a passion for providing opportunities for youth to be their truest selves and build lifelong relationships through camp.

Our camps are divided into three villages.

  • Juniors:  Age 3-Entering Grade 2

  • Middlers: Entering grades 3-5

  • Seniors: Entering grades 6-10

 

The Camp season is from June 21-August 27.

  • Camps run in one-week sessions, Monday–Friday 9:00-4:00
  • Hopkinton AM Care 7:00-9:00 AM
  • Hopkinton PM Care 4:00-6:00 PM
  • Framingham AM Care 7:00-8:20 AM
  • Framingham PM Care 4:45-6:00 PM
  • Transportation is available,

 

Junior Village Camps

Age 3 – Entering Grade 2

 

Our Junior Village Campers experience at camp is a special one! Campers are placed in groups of 10-15 with a staff ratio of 1:5 or 1:8. Junior Village campers get a little taste of evertything as they are exposed to the wonders of camp and the outdoors. You will be amazed at your camper’s social, emotional and physical growth during their time with us. Campers in this program are taught the importance of friendship, teamwork, and community.  Junior Village camp descriptions, dates and prices can be found on pages 8, 9 and 15 in our Summer Camp Brochure.

Outdoor Education Camps

Middler Village

Entering grades 3-5

Self confidence and independence are really starting to shine through in our Middlers Village. Middlers are placed in groups of 16-20 campers along with staff ratio of 1:10. We strive to provide them with the space, support and programming that fosters positive growth and development. Middlers Village offers an expended programming such as ropes course and outdoor education. Camp descriptions, dates and prices can be found on pages 10, 11, 16 & 17 in our Summer Camp Brochure.

Seniors Village

Entering grades 6-10

As the oldest campers on camp, Senior Village Campers exemplify what camp pride and spirit are all about. Campers are placed in groups of 20-30 with a staff ratio of 1:10. Sports, canoeing, archery, and high and low ropes, among other areas are all modified to meet the needs of our oldest campers’ experience. An emphasis is placed on campers developing problem-solving skills, building self-confidence, understanding the value of being a part of a community, and working together to achieve goals. Seniors Village Campers are given freedom, resources, and support in choosing how they spend some of their time at camp, creating an experience designed by themselves.
