With events happening year-round, we make sure the good times keep on rolling here at the Y.

Something for Everyone

Discover what’s happening at the MetroWest YMCA! From hands-on garden workshops and one-time cooking classes to family dinner nights, fitness events, sports clinics, and kids’ programs like Parents’ Night Out and Kids Day Out — there’s something for everyone. You’ll also find holiday parties, volunteer days, safety trainings, and special fundraisers that bring our community together.

Interested in trying an endurance event like a Mud Runner or a 5k? This class will help you train. Learn about a proper warm-up, training modalities, strength exercises, stretch & recovery through out this educational and physical clinic.

Pickling Workshop

Ready to turn your garden harvest into tasty, tangy treats? In this hands-on workshop led by our Farm to School Coordinator, Lindsey, you will harvest veggies straight from the garden; pickle cucumbers, carrots, beans, radishes, and more; and make your own brine with herbs and spices. We will also explore fun flavor twists like garlic, dill, and spicy peppers! Please bring a jar or two (extra available), an apron (optional), and a love for crunchy, tangy snacks!

Join us for the MetroWest Chamber Educational Foundation Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, July 27, at Marlborough Country Club! Enjoy a day of golf, networking, and community while supporting the MetroWest Chamber Educational Foundation, the Rotary Club of Framingham Education Foundation, and MetroWest YMCA Early Education programs.

Tomato Harvest and Pesto Making

Join us in the garden for a hands-on harvest! Perfect for all experience levels, you will help pick ripe, organic tomatoes and learn how they grow. We will also harvest herbs to bring in to the kitchen to make our own homemade pesto for you to take home. If you have an extra jar or two, please feel free to bring it along to reduce our plastic waste. We hope to see you there!

Open Climb

Fridays, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM in the Rec Hall
The indoor climbing gym is open to climbers of all ages, shapes, and sizes. If you can be appropriately harnessed, you may climb. The last hour is glow-in-the dark/black-light climb. Anyone over 18 wishing to belay must attend the belay class.
