Adventures for All
Sitting on 122 acres next to the Ashland Reservoir, our beautiful Outdoor Center in Hopkinton offers year-round opportunities for you to enjoy fun family events, educational workshops, recreational programs, and cooking classes for all ages. It's a space for exploration, adventure, discovery, and play, all while encouraging a healthy lifestyle and building a strong sense of community.

Get ready—fall at the Y is packed with fresh energy and new opportunities! As the seasons change, so do our programs, and we can’t wait to share what’s in store. Starting on September 8, you can try your hand at pickleball, get cozy with a pumpkin harvest & cooking class, prep your garden with Garlic & Seeds, or learn something new with workshops like Intro to disc golf, STEM, babysitting & CPR certification, and more.

Archery & Climbing
Ready for a challenge? Our adventure programs in archery and climbing invite you to build confidence, strength, and focus in a supportive, safety-first environment. Whether you're learning to aim on the archery range or scaling new heights on the climbing wall, you'll develop skills, overcome obstacles, and have a blast along the way. All experience levels welcome!

Safety & Babysitting Courses
At the Y, safety is a shared responsibility—and it starts with the right training. Whether you're a parent, teen, coach, or caregiver, our safety courses are designed to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to act in an emergency. From CPR and first aid to babysitting and community response, explore our upcoming classes and take the first step toward being prepared.

Pickleball at the Outdoor Center!
Whether you're new to the game or a seasoned player, the Y welcomes you to our growing pickleball community! We offer pickleball clinics and classes for all ages, as well as open play for members on eight beautiful outdoor courts.

Cooking Classes & Family Dinner Nights
Discover the joy of cooking with our hands-on classes that bring people together in the kitchen! Whether you're just getting started or looking to expand your culinary skills, our programs teach practical techniques, healthy habits, and the stories behind the food we share. From garden-to-table meals to seasonal recipes, every class is a chance to learn, create, and connect!

Gardening Workshops
Dig into something new with our hands-on gardening programs! Designed for all ages and experience levels, these programs help you explore the world of plants, food, and sustainability while you gain practical skills and connect with nature and your community in a meaningful way.

Family Events!
Discover what’s happening all year long at the Outdoor Center! This fall, join us for Family Day on the Ropes, Community Boating Day, Community Campout and Lunar Carnival, Intro to Disc Golf, STEM in Nature workshop, sports clinics, and the HAUNT Halloween theatrical event!

Year-round opportunities for groups and families

Corporate Service Days
Volunteer together for a great cause and immerse your team in the great outdoors at the same time! From clearing trails to enhancing recreational areas, your efforts will leave a lasting impression on the community. We also offer team-building programs designed to help participants develop communication, trust, and cooperation skills.

Birthday Parties
Give your child and their friends a memorable day with a variety of themed party packages to choose from.

Team-Building Programs
Popular with corporate and school groups, our team-building programs help participants develop solid communication, trust, and cooperation skills. The Y team tailors each program to each individual group’s goals and anticipated outcomes, and may utilize sports fields for ground activities and low and high-rope challenge courses. Space Rentals
Businesses of any size are welcome to rent out Hayes Lodge to host an event, meeting, or workshop. Wi-Fi is available.

Open Climb
Fridays in the Rec Hall
6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
The indoor climbing gym is open to climbers of all ages, shapes, and sizes. If you can be appropriately harnessed, you may climb. The last hour is glow-in-the dark/black-light climb.
Anyone over 18 wishing to belay must attend the belay class.

Open Archery & Rec
Saturdays, 12:30 -1:30 pm
Come and try archery on the range (either indoor or outdoor, depending on the weather). All equipment provided. Participants can bring personal equipment provided draw weight is 30 lbs. or less (unless you also bring your own target). Field points with recurve, or compound bows only, no broadheads, and no crossbows.
Additionally, Rec Hall will have activities like pickleball, basketball, cornhole, indoor horseshoes, Disc golf, and more!
