Community Campout

Whether you're brand new to camping or already love spending time outdoors, this overnight adventure is a fun way to build your camping skills. Learn how to choose and set up a tent site, play backyard games, try geocaching and orienteering, and help prepare a campfire dinner using fresh vegetables picked from our garden with Lindsey.

After dinner, gather around the campfire for s'mores before exploring the night sky with the SkyView app and our resident telescope to get a closer look at the moon and stars.

A limited number of tents, sleeping bags, and sleeping pads are available to borrow. To reserve camping gear, please email Tyler Reynolds at TReynolds@metrowestymca.org.
