Summer Eats Kickoff Party

Free meals don't end when school lets out. The MetroWest YMCA and Gems at the Arts are partnering with Project Bread, the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and others to kick off the Summer Eats program with a free event and cook-out at Gems at the Arts (formerly ATAC) in Framingham, on Friday, June 26th from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. The event will include a free meal, activities for kids, sports, games, crafts, and fun for all ages.

The Summer Eats Program helps increase food access by providing free, nutritious meals to youth ages 18 and under when school is not in session. This summer, the program will run at seven distribution sites throughout the MetroWest at lunchtime beginning June 29.
